Get support
Are you a charity, school or project which supports vulnerable people in your community and provides food as a service? FareShare Greater Manchester can support you.
We support a wide variety of organisations with their food needs, from homeless charities to primary school Breakfast Clubs. Additionally, from lunch clubs for the elderly to food clubs and pantries, to community kitchen’s providing meals to the vulnerable, and social supermarkets.
FareShare Greater Manchester supplies over 250 charities across Greater Manchester with fresh, tasty, in-date food from the food industry. If you use food in your charity, social enterprise, school or other not-for-profit organisation, you can sign up to receive food too.
How we can help
FareShare Greater Manchester can support your organisation with good-to-eat surplus food, saving you thousands of pounds on your annual food bill, enabling you to use the funds for other valuable resources.
From fresh to dairy to chilled foods, catering, ambient and frozen items, the cost for the food form FareShare is on average 80-90% cheaper than buying from a low-cost supermarket.
It’s easy! Simply complete our online form. We will get back to you as soon as possible to discuss how we can meet your organisation’s food needs and guide you through the sign-up process.
Once you’ve signed up to become a FareShare Greater Manchester member, you can expect a food order to be made up by our amazing volunteers each week based on your organisation’s needs and the FareShare food available. Before you fill out an application, please check that you meet the minimum criteria. Join Fareshare today and start benefiting from our surplus food distribution network.
